'Under the Heat' is the final track on the My Room Made Public EP. It was inspired by the 'Be A Lady They Said' video by Paul McLean . The song is wrapped around female pressures to be a certain way and the hypocrisy within that. The personal touch stems from Sophie's frustration of not being heard or listened to as a woman and as an artist and her finding strength and resilience to speak out over the egos in the room.
